Went specifically for the holiday martinis but fell in love with the food as well. Definitely worth a visit and it's more of an experience than just going to get dinner can definitely spend a good two hours here. Small and cozy Italian restaurant so definitely try to make a reservation ahead of time.
I can’t say enough about all of our experiences at Ruby’s! We are always so impressed with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. It is such a cute small business, and is so well managed. We’ve been there a handful of times and are so impressed every single time! The seasonal watermelon martini was phenomenal, too!
Amazing food amazing atmosphere. The Italian food and atmosphere is lovely. However the hours online say until 11 and they will literally be cleaning up around you at 830. It makes it feel rushed a super rude. Otherwise would be 5 starts all around.
Generally overall I'd give Ruby's 3.5-4 stars. The drinks were great! The food was delicious! The service and communication was not great. We waited over 30 min to be served our first drink and then at the 2 hour mark almost exactly from our reservation we were kicked out. I understand a time limit during the holidays but we were spending money consistently on food and drinks (there were 8 of us) and we lost over 30min of our "allotted" time to the restaurants service delay.
Loved it all the way around. Simple, limited Italian spaghetti dishes for entrees. Nice small plates to start, including a charcuterie board that satisfied four of us. Great wine flights and list. The place is a small house, so reservations a must. Super cozy, friendly and attentive wait staff. Big thumbs up!
Great business! Huge wine offering with lots of choices, small bites as well as large plates to satisfy your appetite. Great service and also a good place for a group! Definitely recommend and we’ll go here again
Delicious food and amazing flights! We got three appetizers and three flights. They also have a selection of other - non wine drinks.

BEWARE
My last experience was terrible.
Over charged, seating, and service terrible. Owners would not compensate, even a miscalculated overcharge. Owner demanded a courtesy call because I was wrong?, eventhough I expressed no contact.
Sad that Ruby's has lost its ambience and good customer service.
Plenty of other Great places in Pittsburgh who respect their customers.
